Senior Piping Designer E3D - Leatherhead (hybrid working)
Leatherhead, SurreySenior Piping Designer to work on a Plastic Recycling Detail Design Project. For the development of piping design for preparation of Isometric Production.
Initial Duration 6 months target rate £52.00 ph (PLEASE ADVISE IF HIGHER RATE SOUGHT).
There may be more than one role.
The candidate should have extensive experience in piping design and plant layout and be fully converse with Microstation and Aveva E3D applications.
The position is based in KBR’s Leatherhead Campus. Flexible working can be discussed.
The role is likely to be outside IR35 but the final decision will be made after a Qdos assessment

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop front end piping layout deliverables including plant layouts.
- Build equipment and route piping as per client and KBR standards.
- Build on their knowledge of the technical requirements of piping up individual items of equipment.
- Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines.
- Supervision of less experienced designers to achieve project outcomes.
- Committed to multi-centre project execution.
- Adhere to KBR WAY engineering standards and procedures as well as provide input to their development and enhancement.
Skills / Experience:
Essential
- Extensive knowledge of Piping Design and Plant Layout during detailed design projects
- Fully converse with 2D CAD applications including Microstation
- Fully converse with Aveva E3D
- Good communication skills.
