Project - ADNOC H&G Debottlenecking Study

Purpose OF The Role
Working as part of KBR Consulting International will offer you an opportunity to be part of a global, diverse, service orientated organisation.   
You will work as part of small project teams developing concept and early project definition in the Oil and Gas sector.  

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise during study execution; 
  • Conduct Flow Assurance studies using software packages, e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM etc. 
  • Develop pipeline simulation models, perform simulations of selected cases as defined by self / project and assess simulation results. 
  • Interface with client technical staff to develop and present outcomes and to discuss technical issues; Travel to client sites or offices may be required; 
  • Perform design calculations and prepare technical reports in accordance with company and project quality requirements. 
  • Guide and supervise junior engineers; 
  • Lead, or be part of, project and study teams, according to the work scope; 
  • Report to flow assurance SME. 
  • Contribute to flow assurance strategies, philosophies and procedures.  
  • Demonstrate excellent technical report writing and presentation skills. 

Experience 
  • In single and multiphase pipelines (steady state and transient hydraulic) analyses using industry standard software, e.g., OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPENET etc. is essential. 
  • Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in flow assurance modeling using OLGA transient simulation software. 
  • Assessing flow assurance issues like slugging, hydrates, wax, erosion, corrosion etc. by use of simulation software and providing the best mitigation solutions. 
  • An ability to work in a collaborative way as part of a multi-discipline project group with minimum supervision. 
  • Pipeline sizing and thermo-hydraulics Studies, transient analysis covering shut down, blowdown, start-Up, ramp-up / turndown scenarios. 
  • Pipeline overpressure protection studies including surge pressure analysis. 
  • Knowledge of flow assurance issues including slugging, hydrates, wax, erosion, corrosion etc. and mitigation methods. 
  • Good understanding of thermodynamics and experience of Multiflash preferred. 
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards. 
  • In Flow assurance conceptual and front-end studies and topsides process engineering activities including process modeling in HYSYS would be an advantage but not essential. 
  • Operational experience would be a benefit but not essential.
