When not in the field, the head office is Egham Surrey so you will need to be located within commuting distance of head office.

The position we are looking to fill will be UK based, but the role will involve site activities in Ireland and possibly other locations, depending on client and project requirements.    
        
JOB DESCRIPTION: The CP engineer must be certified according to EN 15257 Level 2 or NACE Level 3.
The role will entail both field and office-based project assignments.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and EU.
It is essential that prospective candidates are experienced in cathodic protection system maintenance, measurements and inspections, in particular with CIPS, DCVG and ACVG survey methods.
The role will involve reviewing technical documentation, direct client liaison with interaction by email, phone and face to face meetings. Candidates must have up-to-date knowledge of the prevailing standards, the ability to produce and prepare procedures, technical proposals, client reports, data entry and postprocessing. Handling and maintenance of instrumentation, including calibration in addition to responsibility for packaging and shipping operations.
The successful candidate will be employed by CESCOR UK Limited and will have regular interaction with the Italian parent company, Inspections and Production Manager in Italy.
MINIMUM AND RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS
Certification EN 15257 or NACE Essential: min EN 15257 Level 2 or NACE Level 3
IT competencies Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (in particular Word, Excel); the postholder must be able to work unsupervised in the use of software for data collection and post-processing
Languages English Additional languages would be advantageous. Well-developed communication skills are required, together with a professional manner
Avalability to work in the field The postholder must be fully available to mobilise for UK and Ireland field work field, or other overseas territories, for project assignments ranging from a few days up to approximately 45 days duration. It is a requirement that the postholder is able to travel by car, air, ship, and can mobilise for offshore duties if required and stay on vessels or offshore platforms.
Driving licence Full UK driving licence is essential (minimal endorsements will also be considered at our sole discretion). Team working and Communication We are seeking a self-starter who is a strong team-player with welldeveloped interpersonal communication skills and strong work ethic.
Organisational skills Respect for operating procedures. Care of field reports and reports Must be able to work to strict project deadlines and produce high quality, accurate reports.
Additional skills and qualifications BOSIET (OPITO) is not a mandatory requirement, but would be advantageous. Knowledge of ISO 9001 for Quality Management
