Senior Pipeline Designer – Onshore

Woking (currently home working)

The role is outside IR35 

Scope of Services:
Services to be supported during the duration of the contract include performing Onshore Pipeline Engineering related to the following design tasks in support of Concept, FEED, Consultancy Studies, and Detailed Design Engineering projects:

Create or modify engineering drawings for pipeline design packages (Concept, FEED and EPC), including:

•    Layout drawings
•    General arrangement drawings
•    Detail drawings
•    Field layout
•    Approach
•    Tie-in Arrangements
•    Alignment sheets
•    Isometrics drawings 
•    Sketches and schematics
•    Electronic filing of drawings and check list sheets

The specific services to be provided will be called off as part of the purchase order – which will confirm the specific project and duration of services required. A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment.
The service provider will be competent and have experience to deliver the services required, and as a minimum have the following qualifications and experience:

•    Mechanical/Civil engineering (or equivalent) background
•    Extensive experience using AutoCAD 2D 
•    Highly competent in onshore pipelines design
•    Working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D Civils
•    Pipeline and/or Cable Routing

Advantageous Additional Experience:

•    Onshore Pipeline routing design
•    Subsea Pipeline design (general)
•    Use of ESRI ArcMap

Deliverables:

The service will include production of (or assistance in the production of) deliverables associated with these design tasks, including:
•    Layout drawings
•    General arrangement drawings
•    Detail drawings
•    Field layout
•    Approach
•    Tie-in Arrangements
•    Alignment sheets
•    Isometrics drawings 
•    Sketches and schematics
