Engineering Manager
Basingstoke (Hybrid Working)
Client operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and this 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, they expect a minimum of 60% home working to be available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.

Requirements:
Coordinate the PMS engineering team for the execution of an offshore gas platforms decommissioning project. Support and liaise with involved company functions as required (drilling, logistics, permitting, interfaces, etc.). Support preparation of decommissioning programmes and other technical documentation relevant to permits and consents. Coordinate the preparation of technical tender documentation, technical bid alignment and technical bid evaluation for decommissioning activities. Interface with contractors to ensure that engineering deliverables are of acceptable quality and in line with company specifications. Attend safety and technical project reviews. Attend technical meetings and weekly meetings. Review project schedules and plans to ensure that works are being engineered, planned and executed in accordance with project objectives. Responsible for engineering budget and forecasts.
Qualification:
Master level degree in engineering. Experience with offshore oil & gas projects.
Experience as an Engineering Manager or Project Engineer coordinating a multidisciplinary team of engineers. Previous experience with Feasibility Studies, FEED and detailed Design.
Previous experience in contract tendering, bid alignment and bid evaluation. Good knowledge of fixed offshore platforms, subsea equipment and pipelines. Experience with technical and safety project reviews.
Experience in Project Management Services of 3rd party contractor. Previous experience with major EPC projects (either Company or Contractor role).
Previous experience in commissioning, construction, or decommissioning activities.
Previous experience in offshore installation and heavy lifts; Preferably with Mechanical, Structural or Process background.
