Senior Engineer, Umbilicals - Basingstoke

Requirements:
Extensive experience as Subsea Umbilicals in preparation and execution of large EPCI contracts for Offshore projects (Feasibility & Conceptual Study, Front End Engineering Design, Call For Tender and Tender Technical Bid Evaluation, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Installation).

Requirements:
Extensive experience as Subsea Umbilicals in preparation and execution of large EPCI contracts for Offshore projects (Feasibility & Conceptual Study, Front End Engineering Design, Call For Tender and Tender Technical Bid Evaluation, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Installation).
In particular, Essential skills / Experience required :
- Extensive Experience on Umbilical System design, manufacture, testing and installation, including (Dynamic, Static, Steel Tubes, Thermoplastic Hoses, electrical cables and fibre optics) and all related ancillaries equipment.
- Conceptual Study, FEED, Tender and Contract package preparation.
- Follow up of Supplier Call for Tender & Selection (qualifications, clarifications, recommendations, etc.);
- Experience in reviewing and commenting umbilical design and other related documentation (i.e. specifications, SoW, procedures, Reports, drawings) with knowledge of the main topside, subsea, controls and installation interfaces;
- Review and approval of Detailed Engineering performed by Contractor;
- Company Representative during Umbilical Systems Fabrication and Testing and offshore activities.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant national and international codes & standards, specifically ISO 13628 Part 5 and/or API Spec 17E or similar.
- Qualification:
- Office Software (MS Office)
- Autocad;
- Knowledge of Dynamic Umbilical analysis software (i.e. Orcaflex).
