Senior Engineer, Civil & Architectural  

Basingstoke (Hybrid Working)

Client operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and this 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, they expect a minimum of 60% home working to be available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.

Requirements:
 

• Broad experience of civil and structural engineering covering all aspects from foundations to steel structures, site preparation and earthworks, roads, drainage and buildings. Should also have a good understanding of geotechnical matters and an appreciation of architectural design.

 

• Conversant with British, European and American design codes.

 

• Self-starting, motivated individual who can be flexible in a challenging environment and working on a new technology area.

 

• Able to take undertake civils design work on projects with minimal supervision.

 

• Would be advantageous to have worked on projects from Feasibility phase through Basic Design and FEED to Detailed Design and Construction.

 

• Demonstrable experience using STAAD.Pro or SAP2000 is essential for this position. Experience using Foundation 3D or Mat3D would be advantageous but is not essential.

 
 
Qualifications:
 

• BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering. Ideally MICE or MIStructE.
