Senior Engineer, Planning. Basingstoke, 12 months hybrid working

Hybrid working pattern. 2 days in office one week, 3 at home, and vice versa the following week.
The Company operates a Smart Working policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and this 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, they expect a minimum of 60% home working to be available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.
Requirements:
- Prepare plans/schedules according to Project requirements and Company standards.
- Analyse and provide planning support to specific areas: engineering schedules, procurement schedules, pre-FID schedules, commercial and negotiation schedules,
construction and fabrications schedules, commissioning schedules, offshore installation schedules, etc.
- Set up the planning, project control and associated progress measurement and reporting system.
- Provide planning and progress related inputs into the weekly and monthly project reports.
- Prepare project specific procedures, working instructions and templates.
- Provide advice to management on schedule related issues and required mitigations / corrective actions.
- Lead and perform schedule risk modelling exercises if deemed necessary and run SLAs as appropriate.
- Oversight of planning activities being conducted in contractor’s offices ensuring consistency with project planning and reporting standards.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Italian language skills would be beneficial.
- Software: Primavera P6, MS Project.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
