SENIOR ENGINEER, MATERIALS - Refinery exp - 12 months min- Basingstoke, (hybrid working available)
Worker status:- PAYE or Umbrella co only
The candidate will be part of the materials team and responsible for supporting Eni’s expansion in new green refinery Projects. Supporting review and monitoring of currently ongoing EPC projects for green refineries.
The candidate’s responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- background on hydroprocessing units
- development of engineering documents for material selection
and corrosion control
- development of material and fabrication requirements for
high pressure / high temperature equipment in hydrogen
service
- ITT preparation for material supplies & installation contracts
- tender evaluation of bids and alignment
- Follow-up of suppliers, contractors and installation, including
but not limited to document review and approval, qualification
supervisions, troubleshooting, etc.
- analysis and resolution of manufacturing and fabrication
anomalies, non-conformance, etc.
Candidate must be highly experienced in refining units design and conversant with the materials used in convention or green refineries and the relevant requirements, including manufacturing and fabrication.
Knowledge in the areas of metallurgy, corrosion, welding, coating and cathodic protection are important for this position, as is familiarity with design approaches and installation / construction methods.
Significant previous project experiences in Feasibility / Basic / FEED or detail engineering projects for hydroprocessing facilities would be advantageous, preferably as engineering discipline Lead.
Degree / Master of Mechanical or Materials Engineering. Member of a relevant Institution, preferably Chartered Eng.
Preference for NACE members.
Previous experience on Eni projects and familiarity with Eni tools and standards would represent a significant advantage for this position
