Senior Engineer, Offshore Structures (Fixed and Floating)

secure UK location and these 12 days can be available even where
personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, typically

Project/Role and
Main Responsibilities
An Offshore Structural Engineer is required as part of the
Basingstoke technical team, to support cope of work in newly
acquired floaters’ projects.
The candidate will collaborate as a valuable resource of the Project
team into the delivery of structural design for floating facilities, such
as FLNGs, FPSOs, FPU, including but not limited to being responsible
for the review and design of topside modules, foundations systems
and internal or external turret units.
The candidate will also be accountable for the execution of re-
analysis of existing structures, revamping and field expansion.
Candidate's
qualifications,
professional
experience and skills
required for the
position
Candidate must be highly experienced in structural design of
offshore structures in all design conditions, and conversant with the
principal design codes and standards (ISO 1900 series, API RP2A,
AISC).
Significant experience in various stages of design (conceptual,
FEED, Detail) and being familiar with non-linear analysis, such as
pushover, collapse, blast etc would be a major advantage for this
position.
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment and
dealing with various internal and external stakeholders would also
be advantageous.
