Piping Area Lead (Aveva E3D) - Leatherhead (hybrid working)

Piping Area Lead to work on an Onshore Advanced Plastics Recycling Project converting plastic waste into pyrolysis oil and gas.

The individual should have extensive experience in piping design and plant layout and be fully converse with 2D and 3D CAD applications. The candidate will be expected to work on projects and different stages from concept through to EPC. 

Leatherhead (hybrid working, 3 days office, 2 remote working) There may be some flexibility to improve level of home working.

Target rate £52.00 ph Ltd Co.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Develop front end piping layout deliverables including complex plant layouts, plant layout reports etc.
•    Lead a team of Piping Designers both in the home office and abroad. 
•    Share and continue to develop their knowledge of the technical requirements of piping up individual items of equipment.
•    Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines. 
•    Committed to multi-centre project execution. 
•    Capable of representing the piping discipline to the client at staged model reviews. 
•    Adhere to KBR WAY engineering standards and procedures as well as provide input to their development and enhancement.

Skills / Experience: 

Essential
•    Extensive knowledge of Piping Design and Plant Layout from concept through to detail design. 
•    Fully converse with 2D CAD applications including AutoCAD.
•    Fully converse with AVEVA E3D
•    Previous experience working on modularised projects.  
•    Good communication skills including ability to present at design reviews. 

Desirable
•    Brownfield Experience

Qualifications:
•    Minimum Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Plant Process or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
