Control System Package Engineer on an Plastics Pyrolysis Project for an initial 4 month contract role that has an immediate start and a target limited company rate to man of circa £55.00 per hour (PLEASE ADVISE IFHIGHER RATE SOUGHT). 

There may other opportunities on new projects for the right candidate.

Job Description
A Package Control System Engineer is responsible for interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical information related to control systems. They collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design details. Here are some key responsibilities for this role:

- The engineer designs, reviews, and approves control systems from package vendors, ensuring alignment with plant control systems.
- create specifications for individual components and instruments, coordinating with suppliers to ensure functionality.
- The engineer reviews and approves package technical drawings & validating from Instrument and controls.
- Desired skills include expertise in design details, engineering practices, and international codes and standards.
- The engineer identifies and collaborates with third-party system integrators as needed to support projects.
- They assist with the design development of DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems for various projects.
- Working with end users and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), the engineer ensures alignment with project specifications and requirements.
- The engineer performs automation-related tasks, including creating I/O lists, and instrumentation lists, and specifying instrumentation and control elements.
- They confirm that package instruments comply with safety recommendations such as SIL, LOPA, and HAZOP.
- The engineer possesses a working knowledge of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
- They contribute to the development of design deliverables
