Snr Offshore Structural Engineer (Jackets) - Leatherhead office (Hybrid working)

Rate - £58p/hr – Outside IR35
Duration – 2 / 3 months - Start – ASAP.
Project – Karabakh
Leatherhead office - Hybrid working – 3 days office / 2 days remotely.
REQUIREMENTS:-
• Degree in Structural Engineering Design
• Minimum experience of 12 years, having excellent technical and practical engineering skills and able to consistently deliver on quality and schedule.
• Proficient user of SESAM GENIE and SESAM suite of software is a prerequisite.
• Proficiency to perform non-linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS is desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of the latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902, and applicable DNV & NORSOK codes is a must.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
• Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Ability to work in an office-based role

- As a Technical Advisor - Offshore structural, you will support the lead in the preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned:
- Design basis, material and construction specifications
- Independently perform engineering analyses for operational (in-service) phase (in-place, fatigue, seismic), non-operational phase (loadout, transportation, launch, upending and setdown) and accidental phase (boat impact, ALE earthquake, pushover).
- Perform detailed design of jacket appurtenances
- Review analyses/ calculations performed by others, provide technical guidance and proactively resolve any discrepancies
