To act as part of a small, multi-skilled and integrated IT Department. The IT Service Desk Specialist will report to the Head of ICM and have responsibilities in the following areas related to the provision of IT systems and services within the Basingstoke Offices.
Provide 1st and 2nd line service desk support to both onsite and remote users as part of the in-house Service Desk team.
Daily management and response to calls logged in the company helpdesk call logging system.
Build new PCs) desktop, CAD and Laptops) and deploy according to company standards.
Troubleshoot and organise repair of IT hardware.
To assist in ensuring that IT systems and services adhere to all internal and external compliance requirements, particularly those related to cyber security.
To assist the user community in obtaining maximum benefit from IT services through training and the creation of user guides.
To support the internal IT asset management processes.
Interface and collaborate with the local IT infrastructure, Service Desk and Admin Teams.
Interface and collaborate with the company’s centralised support functions in Italy.
At least two years’ experience as an IT Service Desk Specialist or similar is essential.
