EniProgetti UK operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.

Role Overview
The Project Coordination Engineer will liaise with the Engineering Manager in the coordination of projects, from the preparation and implementation of the project execution plan to the monitoring of engineering activities and periodic reporting. The Project Coordination Engineer will also support the Head of the PRC Dept in the development of department initiatives, knowledge sharing, lessons learnt and coordination of monthly meetings.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
  • Support the Engineering Manager in the coordination of the engineering activities of the assigned projects.
  • Ensure the design integrity of projects by reviewing the critical engineering deliverables.
  • Liaise with the Technical Authority to ensure correct engineering and HSE standards are used according to company standards and local legislation.
  • Monitor the progress of engineering activities and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Ensure timely reporting of the project status.
  • Support the EM in the implementation of the project management plan, with particular focus on risk, interface and change management.
  • Ensure the highest standard of safety is maintained and HSEQ processes are followed.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Preferred technical background in the energy industry, with experience in developing projects from concept through basic/FEED stages to detailed engineering/EPC.
  • Proficiency in engineering and ability to offer technical support to the team.
  • Experience in the field of project management.
  • Ability to understand project drivers in function of the business need.
  • Understanding of technical codes and standards within the main engineering disciplines (Industry Standards and International Codes and Standards)
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interface with Stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, ability to manage and unite teams working across different Eni locations. 
  • Ability to manage risks and handle uncertainties.
  • Strong decision-making capability. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to introduce, challenge and integrate engineering solutions.
  • Familiar with continuous improvement processes and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
