EniProgetti UK operates a SmartWorking policy allowing personnel to work for up to 12 working days/month from home or a similar secure location and these 12 days can be available even where personnel are on leave for a portion of the month. As such, typically around 60% of time working remotely is available for individuals who wish to take advantage of this.

Role Overview
A Senior Engineer, Process is required to provide technical expertise and organisational input to process engineering activities on a debottlenecking and expansion Project of an existing Oil & Gas facility. You will need the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring that goals and requirements of the project are met, and issues are effectively communicated and resolved.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
  • Provide support to Lead Process Engineer in executing the Project.
  • Act as discipline representative in HAZIDs, HAZOPs, Design reviews and other review meetings as appropriate.
  • Where applicable be responsible as unit lead engineer on process units 
  • Take responsibility for the checking and approval of process calculations in accordance with EniProgetti procedures.
  • Where required, supervise the technical activities of others to complete work to the required technical standard.
  • Undertake detailed calculations to develop the design and be responsible for the accuracy of these calculations.
  • Ensure detail design methods, standards and data used conform to EniProgetti requirements.
  • Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment specifications, Process Descriptions and P&IDs for review and approval.
  • Coordinate and expedite discipline and multidiscipline interfaces for areas of responsibility.
  • Ability to undertake design of oil and gas process systems and equipment.
  • Supporting the development of internal tools.
  • Ensure a high standard of safety is maintained and Environmental and Quality Assurance processes are followed.
Knowledge and Experience
  • P&ID Development.
  • Preparation of Process Instrument Datasheets.
  • Flare and relief load calculations.
  •  Equipment and PSV sizing.
  •  Checking of Process deliverables.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language.
  • Experience in Brownfield Process Verification & Debottlenecking Studies (desirable).
  • Ability to lead a small team (desirable).
  • Experience on similar debottlenecking Projects (desirable).
Qualifications
  • Masters level degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status (preferred).
