ICT Support Specialist - Basingstoke - 6 months +
Duties:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line helpdesk support to all users, where possible resolve issues in timely manner
- Daily management and response to calls logged in the company helpdesk call logging system
- Build new PC’s (desktop, CAD and laptop) and deploy according to company standards
- Provide telephone support to users as and when required
- Escalate problems to the technical network administration team
- Manage and support the use of company mobile phones and telephone systems
- Upgrade /migrate software products /platforms according to company standards
- Manage patch cabling systems end to end in patch cabinets and desktop areas
- any other duties and support activities allocated by the ICT team leader or network admin team
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience working in a an IT support / helpdesk role
- Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft office / desktop products /active directory
- Working knowledge of MS operating Systems
- Working knowledge of Cable patching systems
- Technical understanding of IP telephony, patch panel, LANS and Wifi
- Good working knowledge of MS Exchange and email systems
- Proactive with the ability to work unsupervised,
- Ability to work under pressure
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
